About

Basak is a surface pattern designer and visual artist. She was born and raised in Istanbul, Turkey and bloomed as as a designer and an artist in Phoenix, Arizona.

 

She has a B.A. in Media & Communication Systems in Istanbul Bilgi University and a CCL in Graphic Design in Mesa Community College.

 

Her inspiration comes from natural elements, organic shapes, colors, and geometric shapes. She loves to design, paint and create intuitively. Her style is more in graphic, abstract and minimal side.

Her favorite mediums are papers, acrylics, pencils, brushes, Apple pencil and Adobe Illustrator.
